Abstract
This research examines the factors affecting academic career success for researchers in the higher education sector at the Syrian Arab Republic within the faculty of business administration at Syrian University. The methodology applied in this research method analyzes the academic researchers by distributing the questionnaires to the private universities in Syria. The regression analysis indicates the positive effect of research motivation and mentor support as factors affecting academic career success. The research limitation is mainly related to the sample size is the main limitation. Future explore larger studies could samples and geographical locations.
