Quality of Work Life and Employee Performance in a Public Agricultural Service Organization: the Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction

Undoubtedly, a number of factors, including the norm of work-life balance, contribute to either gains or decreases in performance. Therefore, the goal of this study is to look at the relationship between employee performance at the Simalungun Regency Agriculture Service and job satisfaction and quality of work life. 63 employees make up the sample size for this quantitative descriptive study. The factors are measured using a Likert scale. The t-test and mediation test are used in multiple linear regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results of the study indicate that the quality of work life has a favorable and significant impact on the job satisfaction of Simalungun Regency Agriculture Service personnel. Work-life balance has a good and significant impact on staff performance at the Simalungun Regency Agriculture Service. Additionally, job satisfaction has a favorable and considerable impact on employee performance and is a mediating variable for Simalungun Regency Agriculture Service employees. Furthermore, performance is positively and significantly impacted by the quality of one's work life.References
