Abstract
As the world enters the era of sharing, the countries of the European Union are prioritizing the application of sharing models as an area of the circular economy. In the article, the authors analyze the three models of the sharing economy, identify cases of their application in different sectors, and discuss the specifics of the application of sharing models, creating value for businesses and consumers. As companies are moving from "linear" to "sharing" business models, various models are applied during the transformation period. Analysis of the scientific literature revealed that interest in the sharing economy is growing. Scientists are paying great attention to issues of the application of sharing models, trust, and analysis of the application of the sharing models in the accommodation and transport sectors.
